Reviewed Raspberry Crumble Bars

"I have read only amazing reviews of this recipe, so I was super excited to make Ina's Raspberry Crumble Bars. I am a HUGE, HUGE Ina fan, but these didn't knock my socks off. Sorry Ina!!!! I may have messed them up -- I was so excited to make them that I didn't want to wait for my frozen butter to soften, so I soaked it in warm water to bring it"

Reviewed Lemon Chicken Breasts

"I made this recipe two times -- the first time, I followed Ina's instructions almost exactly, except I used only two cloves of garlic. It turned out well, but not amazing. I don't love the flavor of thyme, and the oregano was very overpowering. The second time, I used a little less olive oil and added a splash of chicken stock. I also used onl"

Reviewed Basic Pizza Sauce

"I made this today and it is delicious. I only used 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano because I don't like a strong oregano flavor, and it is excellent. I also passed the tomatoes through a food mill first. I can't wait to use this on my first ever homemade pizza tomorrow! "

Reviewed Gorgonzola Sauce

"I made this recipe tonight for a dinner party and it was a BIG hit. I did not follow it to a T, and it was still delicious. I read through the comments below and liked the idea of using half and half instead of heavy cream, so I did that. I was a bit worried about the sauce in general, because after about 30 minutes of boiling, the half and half""

Reviewed Marinara Sauce

"This sauce is AMAZING. Oh how I love it. I don't have a food mill but both times I've made this I just quickly zapped the tomatoes in a food processor and was good to go. It is definitely a labor of love, but its worth the time and effort. I am going to make it this weekend to use in lasagna, can't wait! "

Reviewed Mustard-Roasted Fish

"I am a big Ina fan, and love many of her recipes. This is a great recipe for easy entertaining. Just make the sauce in advance, then slather it over the fish, stick it in the oven and you are done! I would have given this 5 stars, but I think the recipe calls for too much salt. Don't get me wrong, I like salt probably more than most people, but this is a little over the top. I have made this a few times, and each time I make sure to salt only to taste. Also make sure to not over salt the fish before you put the sauce on it, for the same reasons. "
