This is a great base recipe. I generally don't like the crunch of celery in stuffing so I use a little less than called for and chop it super fine and then add some additional fresh herbs like thyme, sage, and a pinch of rosemary to give it some extra flavor. The family raves over it every year at Thanksgiving!

Guy, you are a genius! Made this dish for an appetizer for family and friends and they ranted and raved about how good it was! The fresh mozzarella slices made for a lot of cheese on top, so next time I would use grated instead but this is such a tasty recipe I can't wait to make it again! The sauce is good enough by itself to use on pasta or homemade...
