Thank you, debbie6122. When I am looking for reviews, I do not care if it is original. I just want a good waffle recipe. I almost didn't make these because of the low overall rating. People don't understand how it ruins the process when they rate a recipe on something other than the actual recipe. It's VERY annoying!

Delicious! We ended up using sole (that's all our grocery store had on hand) and it was still great! We added the rice directly into the dish (rather than on the side). Definitely putting this into our rotation.

I, also, made this for Valentine's Day. It was delicious! The only change was that I used Emeril's classic mornay sauce instead of Tyler's chicken jus and cranberry sauce. It did take a little longer to bake than expected, however that could have been that I didn't pound it thin enough."

I, too, ended up with flat rolls. Although, the flavor was great. Would love pointers on how to get them to stay higher. Mine flattened out when I went to pick them up to put in the baking soda bath.
