"Good recipe! I make it with blanched, slivered almonds and dried blueberries instead of the dates. I also use flaxseed meal instead of wheat germ to make it gluten free. I find that just a bit more brown sugar helps the bars to hold together, and I also cook them at 300 degrees for 25 minutes and turn the oven down to 250 for another 15 minutes"
