your link states 20min/lb. It is very different from what this recipe calls for. I think we all know it's 15-20/lb but with Alton Browns method the time is shortened, correct?

I'm wondering the same question regarding a 20lb bird without cooking it vertically & following THIS recipe. Alton's time seems to be quicker than other recipes. Is this because of the wet brine?

Super easy & everyone LOVED them!! This is how I substituted based on what I had on hand- All the dry & wet ingredients were the same however I used 2cups of grated zucchini & minced red onion.
