okay I gotta downgrade to a 4 star, so the first time I made this was to practice for a dinner party at my house, like I said before it came out perfectly the first time. Then the second time it wasn't a bearnaise at all, it came out as a delicious aioli...I wish I knew why this happened! The first time I made it the sauce was velvety and sauce like, but the second time it was thick like mayo. If anyone has any tips on how to prevent this or what I did wrong the second time post it! Thanks!"

"These were very good. The cake was a little too dense though so next time I am making them with my regular vanilla cupcake recipe with coconut mixed in. I halved the frosting recipe and had enough to frost 22 cupcakes. The frosting is really the star, it would have gone from really good to amazing with a more delicate cake.

Reviewed Roasted Potato Leek Soup
"I normally love Ina's recipes but this one was not good at all. It took a lot of preparation which I am fine with if the result is good, but it was not. The soup was bland and gummy. I took care to puree it with enough liquid but it still turned out really gummy and starchy. I couldn't even eat it the soup was so bad. I used 2 lbs of potatoes, maybe it would have been better with less potatoes and more vegetables. I was really disappointed.
