Reviewed strawberry, rhubarb, and banana crostata

I've been making this recipe every rhubarb season for a number of years. I get cravings for it, it's so delicious! The anise seed in the polenta topping is what puts this over the top. My stores never have red bananas, so I use a smaller amount of yellow. I've found that using too much banana can overpower the tartness of the other fruits too much...

Very close to what my Nana made. I recommend chopped or grated chocolate in place of chips. That was how my Nana made it, and the chocolate did not sink to the bottom and, instead, was dispersed throughout.
We always topped it with a lattice on top, too!"
