Reviewed Carrot Raisin Salad

"Why did I even look at this "recipe" when I was searching for a carrot slaw/salad. Pre-grated carrots? I would prefer to be more "chef-like" and grate my own. And why give the exact measurement in cups and then explain it again in "handfuls" What kind of man-hands do you have to have to be able to hold a cupful in them? But as always, thanks for t""

Reviewed Giardiniera, Meats, Cheese, Olives, Breadsticks, and Smoked Almonds for Antipasto

"Looking for a recipe for Giardiniera led me to this "recipe". Thanks for telling me I can find it "from bulk bins of market near olives, or jarred". Actually, every ingredient listed here has a tip where to find them in the supermarket. And the directions for serving are terrible. Arrange "piles of hot pepper salad, etc..." that stuff is so oily i""

Reviewed Best Hot Dogs

"this is seriously the "best" hot dogs recipe?! i prefer mine grilled, with some sort of condiment, and also in some sort of serving apparatus such as a hot dog bun. not some floppy tube of boiled meat soaking in water. oh, i'm sorry, extra salty water. food network, i give up. "

Reviewed Glove Compartment Snack

"Although this recipe looks tempting and delicious, I found it very hard to eat from my glove compartment. Maybe if one pulls over to the side of the road and has a "sit-down" meal it would work."

Reviewed Cheese Platter

"the "best" cheese i can find is a slightly dated box of velveeta. i love the idea of a nice presentation on leaves, but the only thing growing around here now is pine. so, i took this idea and rocked it! a beautiful presentation indeed, but is pine sap bad for you? my fiancee is itching like crazy. maybe he doesn't appreciate my efforts. hmmm...

Reviewed Microwave Aromatherapy Hot Towels

"since the review "prompt" question asks if these were tasty, i would have to say not at all. since i didn't have any rosemary sprigs, i used the herbs/condiments i had:dried mexican oregano, cayenne pepper and celery salt. i thought this would go great with the spicy tex-mex dinner i had planned, but no! my guests looked at me in quiet disgust (i could just tell) as they politely chewed the end of their hot towels. my chile rellenos got high marks, but the "tasty" towels were a total fail!

Reviewed Dark Chocolate as a Snack

"this "recipe" is awesome! i managed to find those gold coin dark chocolates and just gobbled them up (more than 1oz, i was naughty) and after being satisfied, i noticed i was sporting a shiny gold "grill" from those pretty wrappers. now when i walk around my hood, all the homies think i am the most "down" white chick on the block! thank fn!
