Reviewed Parker House Rolls

"This was my first attempt at making bread at home and I am extremely glad that I read the reviews before I started making these. As previous reviewers have noted, only 1 tsp of sugar should be added to the yeast during the proofing process. I added the rest of the sugar with the flour. I also needed to use about 1/4 cup additional flour than what the recipe calls for as the dough was very sticky. I also found that doing a second rising of the dough after shaping it made the rolls much lighter and fluffier. In addition, I cut the rolls into much smaller pieces (2 inch strips folded in half once) which made them more manageable to eat. I baked them at 350 degrees for 20 minutes which worked out perfectly. I think the sprinkling of salt at the end made a big difference in giving the rolls more flavor. The only change I would make is adding 1/4 cup more sugar to the recipe to try to replicate the King Hawaiian Rolls.
