What an great French Onion soup. I didn't' have fresh Thyme so I used dried but everything else I followed to the letter. So tasty, I still can't believe I made it! Will be making this again soon!!! Thanks Tyler!!!!!

This was so delicious. Made according to the recipe minus the additional salt. I agree with the other reviews, it was definitely more like an omelette for 3 or 4! Thanks Ina!!!

I thought it was delicious! I do agree with jwebster680 - my sauce never thickened either and I also would cut back on the fresh herbs next time. but can't wait to make it again.

I love this soup! I've already made it twice. It also freezes great. I used 1 1/4 cups of the lentils --any more would be too much! It is also easy to make. Another great Giada recipe.

Wow! This was really good! Thanks to the person sheila (below my comment) for posting the revised recipe , however I was too nervous to do 1/3 of worcestershire so I did 1/9 of a cup. I used the shady brook farms pack which is I think about a pound and a third. maybe next time I'll make 5 pounds and freeze it. Looking forward to trying it on "

I made this 2 times, once I followed the recipe and the second took people's advice who saw the episode and added beef stock. So good with the beef stock - I put the 3/4 bottle of red wine and 16 ounces of beef stock. I wish someone would fix the recipe since people said he added it on the show."
