Reviewed Grilled New York Strip Steak with Beer and Molasses Steak Sauce

"I made a double batch of this tonight and used on country style ribs, holy awesomeness!! I simmered for quite a while, probablly over an hour while my ribs were cooking then i coated the ribs to finish cooking them the last hour or so...the long simmer melded all these wonderful flavors together! you get a sweet taste at first, then a tang, then a""

Reviewed Dad's Potato Cheese Soup

"Excellent! I made a couple of substitutions as well, chicken stock instead of water, and i used sharp white cheddar cheese instead of american. I bought a 24oz block of the sharp white cheddar but found i really only needed 3/4 of it, it was plenty cheesy enough. I also used a pound of ground sage sausage instead of the links. The rosemary added a great flavor and i served a rosemary and olive oil ciabatta bread along with it. I will definately be making this again and ignoring my other potato soup recipe!!

Reviewed Garlic Spaghetti

"wonderful! The olive oil/butter combo make it a nice change from the same old tomato sauce i usually make, and lets face it, anything with 9 cloves of garlic (plus 1 for luck ; has to be good! I think next time ill take other's idea and add shrimp. I also added oregano and tossed the fresh basil in right before i served- yummy!

Reviewed Penne with Shrimp and Herbed Cream Sauce

"Sure to impress!!!! This was so incredibly good; I loved the freshness of adding the additional herbs at the end when tossed. I also added a little cornstarch mixed with water to thicken up the sauce at the end as other users suggested and it was fabulous! As other's commented I agree this is restaurant worthy. I just made this tonight and im already thinking of when I can make it again! I can easily see this as a once a month (or more) dinner :)

Reviewed Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup

"To be honest i've never even had any type of cream of mushroom soup except using Cambells for recipes but after watching her make this on her show i just had to try it. It was a little time consuming but SOOO worth it!! I think this is the perfect dish to make along side someone, my boyfriend and I had fun cooking this together and having two people cut down on the prep time. This is perfect soup weather and we have been dying to make this again and definately will soon!! Im not sure why some found it to be bland, i thought the flavors were terrific with the fresh herbs. From what i remember i think the only thing we did was add a little extra salt and pepper, other than that it was perfect!!!

Reviewed Hunter's Minestrone

"I've made this several times and gets better each time i make it! The fresh herbs make it almost imcomparable to other minestrones you get at restaurants. My friends and family look forward to getting leftovers whenever I make it, and my boyfriends mother called me for the recipe within minutes of trying it! The very first time i made it i overdid adding pasta so the leftovers were more like goulash instead of soup but even still was amazing!

Reviewed Baked Penne with Roasted Vegetables

"One of my favorite pastas to make! This dish impresses everyone I make it for, the smoked mozz and fontina have such a great creamy texture. I think ill take a previous users advice and bring to Thanksgiving!
