Loved the show with the kids and in the Fieri kichen. I am especially pleased with roasting peppers for this yourself. Much better than jarred. I am sure if you used his fortified chicken stock it would be even better. I make pasta like the with whatever veggies I have, too, but sometimes add wine, sometimes not. And more pepper flakes. Better wit"

I love roasting the canned tomatoes to concentrate flavor and carmelize. Guessing few extra fat grams per serving is from the stock since each serving should have about 13.5g from the olive oil. Nice as base for other additions or uses, too."

Great, I like the reminder to use the flavored sugar. In his show Alton did discuss what type of ginger to use and how to recognize it. The tender, non stringy form has a very light skin and is young. Older forms might be used for grating, or I like to make a tisane of ginger and fresh mint. So simple to just put in good water in a pitcher and ref"

While the previous reviewer posted a rating, he actually posted a rating showing his preference for his area's type of chili, not a rating for this recipe. I frankly prefer fresh onion and beans in my chili, and it is healthier as an individual dish that way., but I would eat a Texas chili, too! This recipe is very good, although I like fresh garl"

This is a put together dish that you can in the grocery store, probably on your crepe packaging. quick last second dessert, but does it really need a page of its own? I would suggest for something like this to include multiple simple put together fillings, perhaps sweet and savory, that you could use for the purchased crepes. For example for sweet"

Have made twice, plain and with choc chips. Would be good with nuts, especially pecans, or caramel. My oldest son specifically asked for these a few weeks after Christmas to be made again-not any of the other Christmas or other regulars!"

The mayo was a disgusting addition. I would not eat it like that. Thinned plain mayo? Really? At least use some yogurt or sour cream, with some flavorful addition, maybe some of the green onion and some spices. I know it is somewhat traditional in some places to add the mayo, but, yuck. Especially without the red sauce."
