Reviewed buttermilk pork chops with corn relish

May 19, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Made these the day I received the June issue. Marinated for about 6 hours and they were divine! Don't skip the corn relish.. it will be a new summer menu staple on it's own...DELICIOUS. I'm a bit of a recipe tweeker but I didn't change a thing here. Looking forward to trying several other recipes from this issue, it's a great one!

This was a hit with the whole family. I shopped at Trader Joe's that day and they do not sell Italian sausage in casings so I bought Italian chicken sausage links and just sliced them, great flavor and saved the step of forming the meatballs. As a bonus, I think they are probably lower calorie and fat then turkey sausage. I also added some arugul"

I thought these were great. Didn't make any changes and would make them again as written. I do not care for beets so I just served with a simple arugula salad instead of the one with the recipe. Another time I wish we could give half star ratings...Would give it 4 1/2!"

OMG, this is a GREAT recipe! My daughter has been begging me to make Phad Thai since we bought rice noodles in Chinatown on a recent vacation and I am SO glad this is the recipe I chose! My only modification was omitting tofu and adding thinly sliced chicken breast which I cooked right after the shrimp. It is key to have everything pre-chopped a"

A nice spin on a traditional chili. I followed the recipe without any modifications and my only comment is that it is very spicey in my opinion. I love spice so I didn't have a problem with it, but my kids were slightly put off. They just added twice the sour cream that they normally would have and drank about a gallon of milk with dinner. My only complaint is that you can really only cook 6 per cookie sheet (they do spead A LOT and I think he reviewer who recommended 1/2 tsp per cookie was spot on). I baked them on my Silpat which worked like charm but I only have one so I was literally baking 6 cookies at a time. I baked them 4 1/2 minutes (this took some trial and error but en"

Loved it, super tasty. I have always just used the manacotti recipe off of the back of the box...this was so much better. Cooking the noodles as per her instructions made them so easier to work with. May add some spinach next time, but other then that, won't change a thing!

Made two, one with and one without the giardiniera. I have to say, even though I like giardiniera, and it was one of the reasons I chose to try this recipe, I preferred the one without. It just did not work in my opinion. My kids, loved the veggie free version. The lemon zest & parsley added a nice flavor, and using canned pizza dough made it...

Always looking for recipes to add to my "Taco Tuesday" repertoire, and this is a keeper. The black bean salsa is excellent! It was even a hit with my kids who are two out of three anti vegetable. I am shocked that this recipe has gotten such rave reviews. As written, the sauce was COMPLETELY flavorless. I doctored it up a lot and it was fine, but by no means great. My kids loved it (which should speak to how bland it ended up being even after the doctoring) so I may look for another Salisbury steak recipe & try again.
