These are great, but I agree with trying nutmeg next time. I think the clove flavor is a little dark and flat. Interestingly my "dough" was not really a dough at all but more batter-like. No worries, though, stiffened right up in the fridge and was easy to roll into balls. Giving 4 stars for the clove factor, but hopefully five stars next time ...
