Reviewed Grandma Hiers' Carrot Cake

"First time baking a cake ever, and it came out great! The batter came out a little thick, so I added a little milk to it. But other than that, the cake was moist. I'll use this recipe as a blueprint, and make slight modifications to it as I go. The frosting is great, but it doesnt require so much sugar. I made Paula's "Fresh Tangerine Cake," which also called for cream cheese frosting, and it tasted A LOT better with less sugar added.

Reviewed Fresh Tangerine Cake

"One of the moistest cakes I have ever eaten! I substituted the tangerine juice with pinapple, orange, and mango juice. To my surpise, the cake wasnt too sweet. Delicious! Thanks Paula! Frosting was great!
