Reviewed Creole Breakfast Bread Pudding
"I had regular breakfast suasage on hand so i used that, but it was very good. My husband did not like the sour cream mixture on top but i loved it. I made the night before and did not bake it till the next morning. Very good!!"
"The bread pudding recipe was really good and it did make a pretty show. I did not have chocolate croissants, just regular ones but they were stil good. I find they need to really rest in the pudding for a while before baking so that they can absorb all that flavor. I used vanilla pudding because i am not a fan of butterscotch, but it was a good "
"Loved this recipe. I have been tying my had at bread pudding for the first time and they always look so pretty in the oven but when they come out then just fall flat. So when i found this recipe the only thing i did different from Bobby Deen was to whip my egg whites seperatly and then fold them in at the end. It not only came out delicious but "

Reviewed Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding
"Paula you did it again! I loved this version of banana pudding! It taste great and it was a pretty dish to bring to work. My husband thought it was too sweet but I personally do not think there is such a thing as too sweet! I only had a box of cream cheese pudding so i used that instead of vanilla pudding but it was very very good! Thanks Paul""
This stay at home mom has had all her little birdies fly away from home, so i am now working full time and I needed a hobby to fill the other empty hours. My husband and I love to eat out alot and have become very picky about where we eat. Our grown children tell us that we are like local food critics. We really enjoy trying new restaurants but i started watching the Food Channel and getting on the Food Network everyweekend and am finding that cooking can be a fun past time. It is so exciting to turn on my computer to look for a basic receipt and then find that there are so many versions of that one dish. I find it to be a fun and creative outlet that is bringing alot of joy into my life. What's also great is that i can also share the result of my hobbie with others. Thank you Food Net Work for bringing so much pleasure into my life and filling that void.
We live about 30 to 40 minutes outside of New Orleans and there are so many great places to eat but at the moment we have a couple of local restaurnats that we really enjoy. Bone Fish Grill and Zea.We love the Bacon Wrapped Scallops at Bone Fish Grill and the Bang Bang Shrimp! At Zea there are just so many good things to eat I am not sure what i like the most but it may be the side dish "Corn Roasted Grits," YUM! I am a true southern gal and love love love my grits and these are some of the best!
