Have been cooking it this way for years. Both kids have loved this since before they were a year old. Sometimes squeeze half a lemon over it after pulling it from the oven. Even better with a little tarragon added with the salt and pepper. "

Comfort food at it's best. Agree with others. As is, too salty. Dropped the extra salt and swapped low sodium beef stock for water and bouillon. Definitely recommend the slurry to tighten up the gravy. My kids (5 & 3 years old) can't get enough of this."
