My Activity

Reviewed Brownie Pudding

"Honestly, the expensive fresh vanilla bean was LOST in this. The next time I make it I will use 1 teaspoon of "good" vanilla extract
and 1 teaspoon of instant coffee instead.

Also, I do not have a convection oven and found that the "exactly one hour" cooking time was a tad short. I know that it is supposed to be gooey, but this was almost raw in the center. The next time I make it I will probably add about 20 minutes to the cooking time.

The Framboise was the star of the show!

Reviewed Homemade Ricotta

"This is brilliant! So easy to make, too. I tried it a couple of different ways and actually found that using coffee filters works the best, as it gets the majority of the liquid out the quickest. I made lasagne this past weekend using this ricotta (had to make a double batch) and it was the best lasagne we have ever had. This is a little more expensive than the store bought ricotta but the quality was superb. I will be making this again and again.
