Reviewed orange baked ham

Apr 20, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Fabulous! The best ham we've ever made. I think it helps to start with a really good ham. I used a ham that was from a local butcher/smoke house. Not spiral cut! I cooked it in my Nesco roaster for 3.5 hours on 250 and kept basting with the glaze. I actually added more orange juice by mistake but it didn't hurt. We really loved this and everyone raved...

Trying this today to see if I can use it for my upcoming Derby party. I'm going to substitute Simply Lemonade for the 1 cup of lemon juice and 1 1/2 cups of syrup. Hopefully this will work just as well.

I've made this recipe over and over again and don't know what the negative comments are all about. The only thing I did differently was that I used 2 cups of buttermilk. I think this is a delicious recipe and recommend it often. And yes, I use the 2 full sticks of butter in it. Thanks once again Ina for another incredible recipe. I just made 2 batches...

Just pulled this out of the oven and it is beautiful! Baked it in my cast iron skillet. Changes I made were to add some fresh grated lemon zest, a 1/2 pint of fresh blueberries, and the triple sec (versus the bourbon). If it tastes as good as it looks there's no doubt I'll be making it again. Will also switch up the fruit. Wonder how apples, pecan"

Loved this. Added a couple of tablespoons of capers and mixed the tomatoes with red cherry and yellow cherry. Simple and a delight to look at. I'll add some small shrimp next time which will make it an entree rather than a side. "

So simple to pull together and love the bite that the dijon mustard gives to the dressing. I think this would be good with cooked shrimp tossed in. I'll be making this for a graduation party and other large gatherings this summer. "

Love, love, love this recipe. I've made it several times and love that when I cut the lasagna it "sits" up and isn't a sloppy mess on the plate. I am going to make it for a crowd and double the recipe and try to use crushed tomatoes for the sauce. Not sure how that will turn out but I haven't run anything through a mill since I don't have one. I ...

Made this when we had overnight guests. It was so wonderful! Fresh, lively and visually appealing. My guests were totally wowed. The chicken sausage is hard to find in the store so I'm going to try it with Italian or pork sausage since it's more readily available. Takes a little bit of chopping so next time I'll prep ahead and have things ready to...
