My Activity

Reviewed Chicken with Forty Cloves of Garlic

"Ina, I never thought that putting 40 cloves into a chicken would even be good I actually thought that it would burn or taste so overpowering with garalic and you could not eat it. So I made it just precisely as the recipe said no shortcuts or add ons and it turned out absolutely divine and my date for the night agreed. I was really leary about serving that dish because of the amount of the garlic but, as they say two people who eat alot of garlic it rules the smell out, but as it was we both loved it and it did not bother us about the garlic smell. So once again to all of you chefs on foodnetwork i tip my hat off to you all!!! Coming from Janie in the little town of Erie Illinois. Thanks for all the good recipes and I will tell all of my friends.

Reviewed Chicken Parmigiana

"I have a hard time making this seemingly easy dish and when I make it it never turns out either the chicken is too fat in the middle and cooked underdone or my pasta does not taste like it should. So I gave it the old college try again with the help of a real good friend that happens to be Italian and she makes this dish often. So here we go following the recipe to the tee and Lord and behold it tasted sooooooooooooo good and now I think that I havae what it takes to make this dish. She even ran down the recipe to make good pasta to serve it with and I think that I can make that on my own to. My hat's off to you Bobby and maybe someday we can have a throwdown on this dish just give me time to perfect it so I can beat you on the show, ha ha ha. Reviewed Lady and Sons Chicken Pot Pie

"I did have a chance to taste it and, it was one of the best pot pies I have had in a very long time. This recipe will remain in our house as a warm comfort dish when the nights here get cold like right now. Being from the midwest and plus a rural farm town of about 900 this tyoe of food is exactly what we all crave and need to help us keep warm and we crave. Thanks Paula!!
