My Activity

Reviewed Garlic Spaghetti

"Very easy to make, and a good sauce. I tried it twice, using 12 cloves the second time. I noticed the garlic the more I ate it, but I think the garlic I used just wasn't as flavorful. I wish we had easy access to Christopher Ranch garlic, I think they have the best. "

Reviewed Lentil Quinoa Salad

"I had been looking for a recipe to get my husband and son to eat lentils or quinoa. This one had both, and it got them to eat it! my husband and I liked it both warm and chilled (leftovers the second day), son did not like it chilled, thus the loss of a star. I loved the easy microwave cooking of quinoa. I did Melissa's recipe, will likely try som"

Reviewed Green Morning Smoothie

"I was signing in to answer the question, sorry it's so late, but thought others might be interested. Yes, you can store it in the fridge and use it the next morning. Reviewed Simple Baklava

"Just tried this the other day, and it's a wonderful recipe for parties! It was my first time using phyllo dough, and like others, I tore it a bit, but it doesn't matter because the layers cover up the mistakes. I thought maybe it wasn't sweet enough, like regular baklava, but my friends went back for seconds and thirds! They liked that it wasn't T"

Reviewed Chocolate-Chocolate Veggie Pancakes

"Absolutely delicious! The whole family loved these, even though they were skeptical when they saw the ingredient list. We used frozen strawberries and their juice instead of syrup, plus the powdered sugar. With the chocolate powder and chips, these didn't need any syrup. I also gave the recipe to a friend who gave it a thumbs up. "

Reviewed Green Morning Smoothie

"Very refreshing and a nice change for breakfast. I didn't have vanilla almond milk or coconut milk, so used the 2% milk we had and added some extra vanilla. I also didn't have the peaches, but did have some frozen papaya in the fridge and used that -- just to let folks know not to be afraid to try substitutes! I definitely will make this again -- "
