Reviewed chopped liver

Jul 20, 2014 on

Really good! love chopped liver and loved the texture of this recipe. I used butter (which I know isn't Kosher), but it worked for me. Also did not have Madeira, but was sipping Jack Daniels and thought it would work, and it was great. Also did not have time to boil the eggs so poached them (much faster) and it worked fine. Thanks, Ina. Ilove...

Reviewed jewish brisket sandwich with smoked mozzarella and red cabbage slaw

Very good sandwich. I followed your recipe to the T. The slaw and smoked mozzarella made it unique. My only comment is while adding the gravy made it tastey, it made it very soggy and difficult to eat.

This marmalade is delicious. However, it was more difficult to make than anticipated, based on some of the other reviews. My candy thermometers both went from 200 to 225 with tiny lines in between separating the 2 temperatures. On day 2, I thought it had gotten to the correct temperature after an hour (not 30 min.) and it solidified somewhat...

Sounds like my favorite Cajun gumbo recipe to me! A lovely, elderly Cajun lady, who owned a restaurant in Cameron, LA, taught me, even though she spoke no English and I spoke no French. It is still a classic in our family. I have to admit I use lots of Tabasco instead of red pepper flakes.

So easy! I have never made caramel corn before because I thought it would be too messy. Well, I did use a lot of pans, but it was well worth it! I was making a trial run before making for Christmas gifts, but now it will be perfect for Halloween! I did use more popcorn than the recipe called for and added salted peanuts and M&M's. It turned...

We really enjoyed this gingerbread. It was easy and delicious. I did not have the raw sugar, so substituted 1/2 cup each of regular sugar and dark brown sugar (for the molasses flavor). One reviewer noted his was dry. Mine was moist. However, I think 35 min. may have been a couple of min. too long as mine was crunchy around the outsides, whi"

This soup is delicious! Really good and garlicy After reading some of the reviews, I added one more potato and reduced the broth to 3 quarts. Just to my taste, I also, added more thyme and red pepper flakes. But, overall, I love this recipe and will make it over and over. Canned beans, drained and rinsed, did add convenience and I love the tex"

A little time consuming, but well worth the effort! I loved the flour mixture; the wings came out light and crispy. I diagree with other reviewers that there was too much vinegar or too little heat. for us it was just right. I'm not much of a measurer, more of a taster, maybe I did not follow the recipe perfectly, so i was able to get it just to"

Great recipe. I followed the instructions, only substituting 2 chiplotle peppers for the cayenne pepper to add to the smokiness. I agree with other reviewers that there was way too much liquid and it didn't seem to cook down very much. I would probably start with 6 cups, adding more as needed.
Thank you, Emeril. for...

I love Ina's show and recipes!! This was so easy and delicious, I had a huge red bell pepper, so used only one. I like the suggestions of adding jalopeno, finely chopped and serving with avacado, cilantro and sour cream or plain yogurt.. A squirt of lemon is also a fresh addition...So good!! Reviewed Rum Raisin Rice Pudding

Apr 3, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

I made this for Easter. Tasted wonderful, but did not set up at all. I think that 1 1/2 cups of water and 5 cups of half and half are way too much for 3/4 cup of rice. Also, the raisins did not plump up in the rum. I would reduce the liquid or add more rice and heat the raisin rum mixture for a more creamy and textured mixture. I love Ina's r"
