This is a great recipe. I made a butter pecan cake, and used this recipe for the icing. I sifted my confectioners sugar and made sure the butter was soft but not melted. You can't beat/whip this recipe too much. I used my Kitchen Aid mixer with the whisk attachment. I iced the cake and then had 2/3 cup of chopped pecans and 1/3 cup of butter "
