Reviewed Fresh Pasta Rollatini with Spinach and Ricotta
"I am an old hand at making pasta, but not one quite as interesting - and as earthy - as this version boiled in cheesecloth; it felt such an authentic way to make pasta that I could almost smell Sicilian orange blossoms in the air! Reviewed Dry Aged Prime Rib Roast
"Guy's "Aged Prime Rib Roast" recipe is so fantastic, it not only holds a place of high honor in my family's Christmas tradition, it made it into my Recipe Passions' Journal to be kept for posterity; fully credited to Guy in the notes section. Yet, it is baffling that the FN would permit of one of its best professionals - not to mention in a recipe requiring one of the best cuts of meat - to be denigrated by SPAM! and not the more honorable canned kind. Like (almost everyone else, I click on "Reviews" for the shared community of home cooks whose generous postings have often saved me from my own costly mistakes. It is disconcerting when, rather than adding to our collective pot, a reviewer seeks to take out of our individual pockets! , Please, FN, I am all for free speech and have, on occasion, even benefited from quality marketing, but this venue hardly seems the place for such unauthorized advertising as "Buy more to send"; please, make its footsteps stop here!.
