Reviewed jalapeno popper orzo mac-n-cheese

Nov 17, 2014 on

I liked the orzo in the mac and cheese instead of regular macaroni. I liked the dish overall, but I found it a little heavy, even with the salad on the side.

Reviewed southern italian-style short ribs

Nov 17, 2014 on

My hubby and I couldn't believe our taste buds while eating these short ribs! They are awesome and very original. I've had short ribs before, but not like this! I followed Rachael's recipe exactly, and I'm so glad I did. I even toasted a loaf of bread in the oven to have with the ribs. Not a drop of sauce was left in our bowls. I love the faint...

This is an incredible braised brisket. It's different (in a good way) from any brisket I've ever had. I love the chipotles and veggies in the sauce. It's definitely worth making again!

This soup is awesome. I love the rosemary and porcini mushrooms. It is worth taking the time to make your own chicken stock. I always see stewed tomatoes, but I never think to buy them or use them. I'm glad I used them in this recipe. Great soup and worth making.

Reviewed creamy apple and celery root soup with grilled cheddar, bacon and apple honey mustard sandwich

Nov 2, 2014 on

This soup is like no other. It is yummy! I only substituted one ingredient: half a bottle of hard apple cider (I call it a girly beer) for the calvados. When I went to buy calvados, it was $20; I didn't want to spend $20 for an ingredient I'll use once so I bought 1 bottle of hard apple cider for $2.25. I love the texture of the soup and the sandwich...

Reviewed stuffed chicken saltimbocca with arugula and tomato salad

Oct 13, 2014 on

This was a great make-ahead meal. I prepared the chicken on Sunday and cooked it on Monday. I cut the chicken breasts in half and pounded them out. I think the whole chicken breast pounded out is too thick and too much chicken. It came out perfectly. I love the garlic panko "croutons" on the salad. I added a squeeze of lemon to the salad. Great...

Loooooooove this recipe! I 100% recommend it. I've made it a few times. I made this for a pie cook-off at work. It was a favorite! It's actually my husband's favorite.

It always turns out perfectly; just follow her directions. Sometimes I substitute less flour and add more very finely chopped walnuts (I put them in the food...

I have tried this recipe a couple of times: one time with a butterflied chicken (hint, you can ask your butcher to do this for you) and two times with the chicken cut up in pieces. I used her exact marinade and directions each time. Honestly, I think it's better cut up. It's so much easier to grill that way. I used a heavy pan to set on top of...

These were fairly easy to make. I was worried that I had too much liquid in the apple and cherry mixture, but it turned out okay! My turnovers could have been a little sweeter, but everyone loved them. My mother-in-law even took some home with her.

Aug 27, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

I grilled these burgers for a crowd. They were a huge success. The mayo really makes the chicken moist. I had several requests for the recipe. I had to look for it in a couple of differ...

I have made this several times, and it is amazing! Wow! The pork shoulder is super cheap too. I always make my own mango puree out of frozen mangoes.
