Reviewed Tony's Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard Sauce

Feb 19, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Loved this recipe! Baked the chicken tenders in the oven at 350 F for 10 min instead of frying and they still turned out well! Sprayed the tenders with cooking spray on both sides and cooked them in two batches on a cookie sheet. Once they were all done I put them back in the oven to broil the outsides just a tad before serving. My boyfriend is a...

Excellent and easy! I used penne pasta (bf's personal preference), bacon and omitted parsley (I didn't have any). I've made this a half-dozen times and sometimes I'll double the egg/cheese so that I can have extra saucy pasta! This is a definite staple in our household : )""

I followed this recipe almost exactly (doubled the sauce like others suggested). I used one large green bell pepper and two smaller red bell peppers and I served the chicken/pepper mix over jasmine rice. I did not like the flavor of the sauce at all. All I could taste was the honey and orange juice (and the bitter taste from the vinegar). My boyf...

Delicious! Somewhat quick to prepare (once you get the chicken marinating) and full of flavor! I used Sriracha sauce instead of chili paste. I also made two of what I thought were major mistakes with the sauce (added 2 Tbsp of sesame oil vs. 2tsp and only added 1tsp of cornstarch instead of 3-4 (was wondering why the sauce wasn't thickening! and it...

Reviewed Shrimp and Egg Fried Rice with Napa Cabbage

Mar 9, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I've never made fried rice before so I wasn't sure what to expect. This was very time consuming for me to prepare but once I got cooking things progressed quickly. I didn't have any shrimp (used them all up for Sunny's Shrimp Wontons) but the rice still turned out very well. The consistency of the rice isn't what I was expecting for "fried rice" but...

Delicious taste but the texture turned me off. These were really easy to make and looked beautiful but the partially ground up shrimp felt like I was eating pre-chewed food. Maybe I under-chopped the shrimp or something but I don't think I would want to eat these again. My boyfriend loved them though! Don't get me wrong, the flavor was definitely...

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this recipe. I've made it three times now and it's always a huge hit the night of or for lunch the next day! I always omit the ginger because I don't care for it and the dish is still very flavorful. I've also made this with skirt steak instead of chicken and again it was delicious.
