I read some of the reviews but my faith in Pioneer Woman encouraged me on!! She really knows how to cook up fantastic food. I looked for the largest baking dish I had wanting the cobbler to be shallower vs deeper. When I transferred the peaches to the dish I did not transfer all the sugar/flour mixture. But I did put most of it in. When I "cobbled...

I so enjoyed this dish. Looking forward to eating it tomorrow served with an egg on top just like they do in some of the Mexican restaurants I have frequented. I imagine a dollup of sour cream on top would be tasty. If you think you are putting too many chiles/peppers in the dish you are NOT!! I halved the recipe but kept the same amount of these...

These were so good that we were gnawing on the bones! To ensure that you have a crispy beautiful browned chop make sure that you let the oil and butter heat up good. Do not flip over until you get that pretty brown color underneath. Be patient for a thicker cut pork chop. Very important to use either a cast iron skillet or non stick skillet....

This dish was so good that everybody went back for seconds! Easy to make. And flexible. I had one red tomato on hand and a green one. Both worked well together in this dish. I was missing the zucchini(but nobody knew that)! I just didn't have any. I decided to peel the egg plant but it wasn't necessary! Quick to make! And you are lucky if"

Fresh and creamy with chipotle in the background. However, the overall taste was mild and "plain". I would have liked it to be on the "wow" side considering the cost of crab."

Reviewed Pressed Reuben Waffle Sandwich

Jun 5, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I rewatched Aaron's recipe and got it right this time!! I just added a tad more beer and milk to get it to the same consistency he demonstrated on his show. It came out perfectly. We do like it better than regular rye bread. This was a very creative recipe. We toasted our wafflicious sandwich in a panini iron and it was delicious. Please ign"

Reviewed Pressed Reuben Waffle Sandwich

Before making this sandwich you will need to watch his show again because the ingredients for the waffle are incorrect. Too much flour and not enough wet ingredients to make a batter that will pour into the waffle iron. I am still very interested in making this sandwich!"

Very Good! If you use a tougher bread-stale french bread, sour dough, challula-the measurements of this recipe works perfectly! If you use a softer bread then adjust the egg and milk ratio to more egg than milk. The next trick for success is dont flip the sandwich until you have a nice dark crust! Blueberries would be wonderful in this sandwich...

Reviewed Spicy Roasted Tomato Marinara with Spaghetti Squash

Mar 18, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The roasted tomatoes and squash came out perfectly. I did not take the time to make homemade stock but I can imagine that it would have added even more flavor. The squash was tender and sweet and the roasted marinara sauce so full of fresh flavor. I did add in a favorite veggie-mushrooms-and added in more basil than called for. This was so satisfying...
