Reviewed Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya

"Very good, we all enjoyed it. I added more garlic and substituted some of the meat according to what I had in - instead of the sausage indicated I used some toulouse style sausages cut up and some chorizo plus a diced gamon steak. Was going to add some leftover chicken also but thought there was sufficient meat already.

Favorite Foods

Favourites - well most things from most cultures!  I do love spicy food but equally good ingredients simply cooked taste wonderful as well. Currently it's English asparagus season and that is just great either roasted, griddled, briefly boiled and served with butter.....

Not a huge fan of a "typical" English roast dinner I suppose, not something I'd choose to eat, though there again individually I love a well cooked roast potato or two, some slow cooked shoulder of lamb or pork (or belly if not too fatty), beef (assuming not overcooked).  Chicken I love, again if whole it's lovely slow cooked with garlic, hint of chilli, lemon, olive oil...

I love mediterranean style food, I really like a little of several things (tapas style) rather than a great mound of food on a plate.

I don't tend to choose steak, although the fillet steak is fantastic at Blades Restaurant in Putney.
