"so yummy and easy! i also did not include the celery. to me that belongs in a "real beef" dish. i.e. pot roast. we are not beer drinkers so only had a 12oz. can of regular beer. worked just fine. yes, the meat does shrink, and we love the leftovers even more. but remember, don't overcrowd your crockpot. so if you are going to get a huge one, use ""
