"I followed the directions exactly and they were definitely not the best thing I ever made. I am an accomplished chef and agree with the comment that this was way too involved for a less than stellar outcome. The filling tastes like unsweetened applesauce. There is not enough pastry for the filling and they exploded all over the baking sheets. T""
Reviewed Shortbread Cookies
"Very simple and easy recipe. I have made them several times and they always turn out great. I added 1 cup of English toffee pieces the last time(don't know if I can note the brand name here, but it's the same as a famous candy bar).
The toffee pieces made the cookies AWESOME! I also noted that 20-25 min bake time may be too long. Mine always ""
