Reviewed Tomato and Goat Cheese Tarts
"This is SOOOOO good. It is a little time consuming for the yield, but worth it. I could (and probably would!) eat the entire batch myself. Definitely worth it.""
Reviewed Baked Penne with Roasted Vegetables
"This is one of my favorite dishes to make, and is a big hit at potlucks. It's super versatile so you can really use any of your favorite veggies (I like a varity of squashs - butternut, zucchini, yellow). Another trick I do is that I will roast the veggies one day, and then assemble/bake the dish the next day to cut down on amount of time needed""
Reviewed The Oatiest Oatmeal Cookies Ever
"These are okay. I didn't have the puddle problem, but I ran out of some ingredients and had to do some substitutions, which worked out okay. (2 oz of applesauce to supplement the butter, some molasses instead of brown sugar, and some agave syrup when i ran out of sugar.
I used the disher as other people said, and my cookies came out like little cakes. They aren't dry cookies, but they do seem to ***** the moister out of my mouth when I eat them. Also, they're kind of messy - mine didn't really spread at all, so if they weren't perfect mounds going into the oven, they looked misshapen coming out.
I might make them again since my dad is eating gluten free, but these definitely will not become my go-to recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies. My go-to recipe will continue to be recipe that comes on the Quaker Oats package. That recipe can't be beat!!!
