I really liked these and the flavor was very good. It was definitely a project (chopping all those veggies), but it was worth it. I agree with others that said two people could split one. It may take longer to cook than stated in the directions. Definitely use a thermometer to check the temp in the middle. It took an extra 30 minutes for mine...

I lived in Hawaii for many years and I have to agree with the previous reviewer who said that you have to cut up the patty and mix it all up on your plate. That's how you eat it. I also agree that two patties is too much. But hey, to each their own way. There is no Hawaiian BBQ places in Houston so this recipe was extremely appreciated! Very"
