Reviewed Chicken Stew with Biscuits

Mar 28, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Made this tonight.
Instead of the pearl onions, I used potatoes. I just used chicken stock, without bouillon cubes. Didnt have any, and they are pretty salty anyway. Other than that I made it all as specified.
Hubby gave many compliments to the chef (me!) and its for sure going to be on the favorites list!""

I DO like the cake part of this cupcake. I made the mocha paste as advised from another reviewer. Filling, I thought asked for too much Baily's. So I would go a little lighter with that. When I scooped the filling into the pastry bag, I noticed a lot of the liqueur had sunk to the bottom on bowl. And the flavor was 2 strong. Buttercream. Why cant...

I made this yesterday, and followed directions to a T. I had no problems rolling it, as far as it breaking. I thought I did not roll it to tight, but looking at the photo, I think I did fine after all. Oh 1 think I screwed up on. I FORGOT to put the red coloring in the cake! It was already in the pan when I realized it. SO! I decide to put it in ...

Jan 25, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I just finished making these. I made the pineapple filling first, and set it aside. Its pretty tasty, but a little to much lemon. I would lighten up on the zest a little bit, next time, It also made more than I needed, so I will use this as a relish for a ham later this week. The cupcake is good, but you WILL taste the wine, But if you read the r...

I do have to say that I needed to cook a little longer, about 10 min, but thats MY oven, I have to do that for almost anything I bake in that stupid oven. (mama ...

just ok, the meatballs were not that great, but not bad either, the sauce, was as bland as it gets. I added a little salt, pepper and all spice, still boring. I added some Maggi and that helped. I dont think I will repeat this one. Sorry Alton!"
