I am a nurse working per diem so I have plenty of time to cook and learn new recipes and travel. My stepmom is a fantastic cook who graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, as well as my aunts in Italy who still (of course) make all their pasta by hand, every day.
I love to cook everything but my favorites are Italian and New Mexican foods. The cultures are so similar in that they revolve around food and family/friends all of which I love!
What I am most known for are my Southwest Lasagna, and my Tiramisu. I also make an Italian cake called Bensone di Modena which is a requested recipe as well. All are requested favorites at parties and get togethers :)
I am proud to have learned simple techniques and the power of homemade and local grown foods.
