My personal version of this is adding chopped sweet onion, and after draining the beef and onion, I melt a couple T of butter before adding the flour...I also add a bit of poultry seasoning and granulated garlic and serve over extra wide, buttered egg noodles that have been sprinkled with some chopped fresh parsley. Great for dinner!

I am soooooo totally addicted to this...watched Melissa make this on tv months ago..By the way, .so nice of the restaurant to share the recipe with her...the only thing I did differently was add a little bit of sugar...I always do that to gravy, sauce, whatever you choose to call it...and also Chili for inquiring minds...I highly recommend this!!!"
