Such an easy way to caramelize onions! And turned out so delicious! I used a mixture of water, butter and olive oil for the moisture/steaming element, since I wanted the onion flavor to shine through. Great for many recipes! ""

Excellent taco seasoning. I'll NEVER buy the commercial dry seasoning mixes again! Used only 2 Tbsp. cumin and 1/4 tsp. salt. You won't miss the lessened amount of salt here. Also, used plain water, not broth, and it was still fantastic. The chipotle pepper is a must; totally worth the extra cost over cayenne. ""

The sauce is really nice, but chop the veg in small dice to ensure even cooking; I left out the bay altogether as personal preference, and used a large can of tomato puree and a small can of tomato sauce instead of the crushed tomatoes. Delicious, extremely simple to whip up and beautiful to serve! Used 3 lbs 90% lean, organic beef, and added 2 slices of bread soaked in milk and squeezed "dry".
