My Activity

Reviewed Grasshopper Cake

"Unbelievably good and looks like it came from a bakery. I did follow the previous reviewer's suggestion of more powdered sugar and peppermint. Also I highly recommend that you make the filling first so it can set while making the cake. I had alot left over and my husband ate it like pudding! Just yummy!"

Reviewed New England Clam Chowder

"What happens when a girl from Iowa marries a guy from Baltimore? She goes in search of a clam chowder recipe. Now I can make anything from a pig a cow or an ear of corn, but seafood is a different story. This was just shut my mouth good! My hubby loved it and took the leftovers to work today. I listened to other reviewers and cooked some bacon and"

Reviewed Pork Chops With Mushroom Gravy

"This was so good and easy too. The only thing I did different was dredge the pork chops in flour mixed with salt, pepper and paprika. I didn't have chicken broth, but had chicken stock and I think that made it even better! Very easy and the hubby loved it."

Reviewed Minestrone Soup

"Have mercy this is fabulous! I did take note of other reviews and added zuchini and some spinach and another can of kidney beans and more broth to compensate. My carnivore husband ate 2 huge bowls and said he never missed the meat. Also I used the frozen little french green beans from Trader Joes and they cooked up without being crunchy. So so goo"

Reviewed Chipotle Beef Tostadas

"This was easy and tastes great. I disagree with the other reviewer from Tucson. The beans and beef go great together and the zuchinni gives it a great texture. We like to kick up the heat at our house so I added serrano peppers to it and bought pinto beans with jalepenos. Like I said, we like it hot!"

Reviewed Gina's Perfect Roast Chicken with Gravy

"Just unbelievably good. We usually roast our chicken out on the rotissere but this is even better. I listened to other reviews and lowered the temperature to 400. I also doubled the herb butter recipe the second time I made it, it's just that good. I also put the rest of the lemon in (why waste it) and more garlic and onion inside too. The leftove"

Reviewed Sunny's Honey BBQ Oven Short Ribs

"I did this with country style pork ribs because that's what I had in the freezer. They were fabulous and so easy. My husband usually smokes racks of ribs on the smoker but sometimes there's just not enough time for that."

Reviewed Momma Neely's Pot Roast

"This is the best pot roast EVER! I also add mushrooms and potatoes and I take the lid off the last 20 minutes or so, so the potatoes can get crusty and browned. i also make gravy out of the liquid left in the pan. Just an easy delicious recipe!""

About Me

I'm addicted to cooking! It relaxes me at the end of a long day. I'm a funeral director and when I come home I need an outlet that helps me wind down from a very stressful day. It gives me joy to have friends and family over and watch them enjoy what I've made.
