My Activity
Reviewed Potato and Poblano Gratin
"This was absolutly delicious. It was easy to make. I followed the recipe to the T and we are having it for Thanksgiving instead of Mashed potatoes.
Reviewed Snake Bites
"I make this every holloween and it is always a success. It is fun to paint it. I will keep making it until I hear different from friends and family!
Reviewed Moroccan Chicken Tajine
"Personally I did not think it was that delicious, however my husband and guests liked it. I might have used a little too many of the preserved lemons and that gave a bitter taste, next time will probably use the pulp and will not add the skin. As for the saffron, honestly I think it is useless besides being expensive!
About Me
I am of Mexican descent, and come from a family who loves to cook. My grandmother prepared the most delicious "Poblano" dishes (she was from a little town from the State of Puebla, Mexico) and some day I wish I could prepare the meals she did, specially the one for day of the dead!!! yummmiii - Mole, tamales, rosca del cielo, pecan, sweet potato, fava bean dessert etc. etc. we would get up from the table in a bouncing motion, ... so so full!
Favorite Foods
Chocolate cake is my favorite dessert in any way or presentation! I lov eto eat just about everything and one of my favorite dish to cook is "Chiles en Nogada" (Stuffed Poblano Peppers with a nutty cream on top.
