Reviewed Hot Cocoa

"Oh, yeah. Good stuff! I still can't find dutch process cocoa where I live so I used regular cocoa power (dark chocolate) and it was just fine. I noticed Wal-mart sells little containers of the Kraft jet puffed marshmallow bits (dried), like you get in a packaged hot cocoa mix. I added it to my hot cocoa gift bags and it looks great!""

"This recipe is a keeper. I thought the dough needed a bit more salt but I did use unsalted butter. Other than that, the dough was wonderful, light and pillowy. Next time I'll try adding cheese and chives."

Reviewed Tiramisu

"I loved this recipe! I made it twice. The first time, I only had 1/2 the amount of mascarpone needed so I used cream cheese, additionally. It made for a thicker filling which was easily spread rather than ladeled like on the episode. The second time, I tried it with 2 cups of cream cheese, not 4, and thinned it with heavy cream. Both times, it set perfectly and tasted great. I plan to use cream cheese next time as mascarpone is a bit expensive with little difference in the final result in my opinion."

Reviewed Spaetzle

"I made this and reviewed it once before. Then, the recipe seemed.... off. It came out too runny and needed more flour, didn't saute well, etc. I had to try this again and it came out perfectly. The problem was that I used XL eggs last time, not large eggs like the recipe calls. I hope that helps other reviewers. Good luck!"
