I am a freelance writer with a passion for communicating spiritual truth through the written word. I use my certification as a Peer Support Specialist as a prison and corrections volunteer, helping people recover from compulsive theft issues. My loves (not in any order) are: gardening, Bible study, sewing, Husker football, home decorating, playing piano, family and friends, my 3 children (20, 21, 23), my puppies Neville & Captain, my husband of 30 years, learning new things, crafting and art.
Favorite Foods
I love easy cheesy dishes as well as mixing fruit (especially dried) into unexpected dishes. I've never met a piece of bacon I didn't like, and being from Nebraska, I love a good piece of red meat, but don't make it often, as one child is a vegetarian. I love to make soup -- such a comfort food to both eat and share. Unfortunaately, my claim to fame is wacky jello molds. Now that's embarassing.
