"This recipe was disgusting! I followed all instructions. The texture was great but it was too eggy. I cooked the cream/milk first then added that to whipped up eggs/sugar. I don;t know if the cooking did it but it was way too eggy with 2 eggs."

Reviewed Tres Leche Cake

"I've made this 6 times and it's been a hit!
These are the only changes and conversions I've made for the perfect Tres Leches-to me anyway. :)
Use 1 and 3/4 cups of SIFTED CAKE flour. Very important. No more no less.
Instead of 1 whole cup of white sugar for the cake batter, use 3/4 cup otherwise its toooooo sweet.
