"I am not known for baking(other than bread). Ask anyone and they will tell you I am at the grill or smoker with something good on the grates. I saw this episode though and had to try it. The results were outstanding! Best Apple Pie we have ever had. No one could believe it was homemade (or at least by me). Tried with both the Apple Jack and Apple Pie liquor, great results both ways. Couldn't find a pie bird, but the foil imitation I made worked well.
