Reviewed Tomato Pie
"This pie was delicious! I only gave it four stars because I made a lot of changes, so I can't say for sure how the original tastes, but I bet it is amazing. I can for sure say this recipe is a great starting place for you to play with. I added a layer of spinach as well as come poultry seasoning between the called for basil and tomatoes.
Like many others I used 1/2 the mayonnaise called for in the recipe, but I truly detest mayo, in fact, I am surprised I like it at all, but I am glad I gave this a try, I'll be making this for years to come!"

"I found truffle butter at Target, next to their steaks! I was please with this dish and it was a real crowd pleaser. This is one of those dishes that makes you seem like a better cook than you are, even if your friends already think your food is great!"
Reviewed Mustard-Roasted Fish
"I think I might have done something wrong because this is the first of Ina's recipes that I have not absolutely loved. I am going to go ahead and rate/review it because as I look back over the recipe, there is nothing obvious that I messed up.
I really thought the sauce was too thick for the fish and it was pretty overwhelming. Overall, it was not terrible, but below the standards of what I expect from an Ina Garten recipe. She is my favorite cook and has never failed me before; I guess this just was not to my taste.

"This soup was absolutely delicious! I could not find saffron heads anywhere I looked, but it still turned out beautifully. The pistu was really great and I am going to use the leftovers on crunchy bread as an appetizer later this week; don't skip it!"

"This was a great recipe!! I followed exactly and it was amazing. It was a lot, so I will cut it in half next time because I am only feeding two people, but it was so good I had it for lunch all week.
On a side note, I think it is in poor taste to rate a recipe poorly for something you thought you saw on the show (and in this case were wrong about). Reviews are supposed to be a place you can "preview" recipes and get tips from those who have tried it before, not to criticize a television presentation.

"This recipe does take forever, but I found that due to the 2 hours in the over, it was the perfect opportunity to take care of other dishes as well as relaxation time. I made these ribs for a family dinner and they were great and I got lots of complements. I would not change a thing about this recipe, I just have to remember to be patient and let the liquids reduce like they are supposed to. If you just trust Ina and follow the recipe, you can't fail on this one!
