Reviewed Ranch Chicken Sandwiches

Apr 23, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

WOW! What a mouthful of flavor. I know this might not be the most healthy way to eat a chicken sandwich, but you have to splurge once in awhile. I did mine in the skillet, I was afraid to lose all the marinade flavor on the grill."

This was soooo good. Just a bit different than the ususal spinach/strawberry salad. I happen to have smoked paprika so I used that. It tasted like there was bacon in it with all the crunchies."

Not much of a taste. It sat up just fine after being in the fridge all night. But not worth the price of fresh blackberries."

Reviewed Trisha's Chicken Tortilla Soup

Jan 31, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I was so excited to try this. The 5 star rating and it being quick to throw together was the key. I was really disappointed in the final taste. I even used spicy salsa, it was really lacking something. Sorry."

Reviewed Pat's Broccoli and Chicken Stir-Fry

Jan 26, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is now my "go-to" stir fry. Awesome!! You could use any veggie, and meat/seafood. Just adjust the cooking time. Loved the spice and heat. The only thing I would do different is not use green onions, or add them in at the very end. They were cooked too long and got stringy. "

Reviewed Chinese Chicken Burgers with Rainbow Sesame Slaw

Nov 5, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is like a party in your mouth!!! I simplified things a bit and used a premade slaw mix, but did the dressing in the recipe. Combine that with the mayo and burger....outstanding!"

Reviewed Apple, Pecan and Blue Cheese Salad

Sep 24, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was sooooo tastey. I make a salad similar to these with just a balsalmic dressing. The mustard and sweetness from the maple syrup really bumped it up. I will be making this often!!"

Reviewed Blueberry Coffee Cake Muffins

These were very good. I have another blueberry cream muffin also and I like this one much better. They were even good two days later."

Reviewed Chocolate Spiced Pork Chops

Sep 8, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Wow...these are like a party in your mouth!! I did not have an iron skillet so I also finished these on top the stove. Just turn the heat down so you don't burn the spices and don't let the pork get dry. serve with something plain because you need to balance all the flavor these have."

Reviewed Carolina-Style Barbecue Chicken

Sep 4, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I kept wanting to make this but never seem to find the time to do BBQ, so I cubed up some chicken breast. Browned in a skillet, made the sauce and poured it in. Cooked it till it reduced somewhat, and poured it over a salad. AWESOME flavor!! I may now have to try this on BBQ :)"

Reviewed Mocha Meringue Bark

Jul 17, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

OMG! What did I do wrong? The taste was good.....followed the recipe....I did use wax paper instead of parchment ( I have sub this before in other things with no problem) I could NOT get it off the paper....should I have sprayed it? If no one else had an issue, it must be me....but I would NOT recomend this."
