Yes, overnite in the fridge is the best way, because it defrosts evenly and stays cold which is the whole point of puff pastry.

We loved these burgers. I made them with turkey because it is so much cheaper than chicken. Also, some reviewers said the turkey was wonderful. They are so moist and full of flavour. I made them in the morning and left them in the fridge til dinner. They stayed together and were great. Didn't make the slaw yet - will try it later.

I just reread the recipe, and there is no pasta, unless you're thinking the gnocchi is pasta - it's potato. AND bacon goes with anything!

Haven't made it yet, but I'm definitely going to. Think I'll add the flour to the Dutch oven after the 10 min cook time, stir around for a couple mins, then add the chicken stock and milk - would save dirtying another pot and less chance of lumpy b���chamel. Anyone think this wouldn't work?
