Very tasty, full of flavor! I used white wine vinegar, didn't have the sherry and I used sriraccha chile sauce in stead of red pepper flakes and also used brown sugar."

I decided to make this bread since it was rainy outside, it was very easy. I tweaked the recipe. I only used 1 1/2 cups of sugar and it was MORE than enough, light olive oil instead of vegetable oil and I added organic bananas and one grated carrot for color. This was the best crunchy topped bread I have made in awhile. Just remember sometimes les"

Reviewed Not Your Mama's Green Bean Casserole

Definitely not your mama's Green bean casserole! I don't like the cream of mushroom can so this was my first time making it from scratch. I pretty much followed to the tee except I added a little cheddar cheese to mine, I could have eaten this without anything else to go with it. My husband enjoyed it!!

Thanks Alton, ""

Winner winner pork dinner!!! Guy, this dish was outstanding! I was a little unsure if I should use all that spice but, it was spot on. I wanted to try this dish just as you made it however, I could not find swiss chard and did not want to drive forever to get some so I used kale, which Never fails me. My husband even loved it!

I think this is the very first time cooking( non fried) pork chops that were tender and juicy! I did not make the mac n cheese but, the chops and apples were delicious. I usually tweak recipes, like adding garlic or something but decided to follow to the tee, again, make it your own way but Rachel's was great! There were a lot of apples left so l...

This dish is very easy and delicious! I gave only four stars because I think it needs 1c. of starchy water instead of 1/2 c., could be a personal preference though. I added sun dried tomatoes and sweet peas to the dish for a nice pop of color and flavor. It was also a little too salty for me, which came from the cheese and pancetta, next time I ...

Reviewed Dang Cold Asian Noodle Salad

May 10, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I gave this recipe a four only because, I thought it could have used more flavor, so like the other review I too will do 1.5 for the dressing. My husband loved it! I also cooked dim sum and baked asian chicken wings. The sauce was almost like the dressing for noodles but, I also added chinese five spice to it and let it reduce.

Sunny, this is an outstanding dish!!

I made these today with a couple of changes. I could not find the tomatillos, so I bought the jar sauce which is very good and cuts down on time. I could not find the fontina cheese, so I bought italian which has fontina, asiago, provalone, parmesian, mozzarella, and romano in it,the sauce was...

I am not originally from the south but have lived here for 3 years now. I also have eaten the raw or the green ones, roasted is not the way to go, sorry! You will surely need to cook them waaayy longer than 2 1/2 hours. I let them sit over night and the were still semi-hard, just not for me."

Mar 18, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was the first time I have ever made corned beef. I waited to long into my day to put it in a slow cooker so, I put it on the stovetop. I let it slow cook for approx. 3 hours, took it out and wrapped it up. Then added my carrots, onion and I even added parsnips to the cooking liquid. Once those were done I took veggies out and added my cabbage...

I did what the recipe said but, I cooked my lentils for 30 minutes. They were still firm but tender. I can't wait to taste it cold, maybe breakfast in the morning, lol. There was no need for anything else, flavor was right on the money. Great salad!!
