My Activity

Reviewed Slow-Cooker Pork Tacos

"fantastic and so easy! used cumin and crushed red pepper rather than all the other hots. added some maple syrup because of sweet tooth. great. also added 50% more cider vinegar, and a cup of root beer, because it's the elixir of bbq. BTW, it is AMAZINGLY easier to trim the pork while it's still partially frozen. Everyone but me may have know""

Reviewed Top Notch Top Round Chimichangas

"Great tasting way to use top round/london broil. The meat disintigrated. I loathe pinto beans and left them out. This was very tasty and even my finicky kids like it!""

Reviewed Braised Beef Tacos

"i used london broil, actually followed directions but used 1/2 tomatoes b/c I don't love tomato based stuff usually. also 1/3 the chili powder for some delicate palates. Very good with salsa as a topping, along with sour cream of course. ""

Reviewed Breakfast Sausage

"this is my new sausage recipe. Just take care not to overcook. Since the sausage is so fine (at least the way I did it) it can dry up quickly. Delicious. No overwhelming flavors, you can taste the delicious pork. I used boneless country style ribs (on sale) rather than buy the 10lb bone-in shoulder butt. AB is the KING.""

Reviewed Spenser's Sloppy Joes

"REALLY good, ZERO complaints (and I have two PICKY kids age 4 and 6). only used 1/2 red and 1/2 green pepper (next time will use all of both). only used 1/2 cup of bbq sauce and I'm glad b/c otherwise I think it would have been too saucy and bbqy. REALLY good""

Reviewed Sirloin Steak

"this was tender juicy deliciousness. the sirloin was only about 3/4 inch thick and only took 5 min on each side, never made it to the top rack. used broiler on high. Next time only a little more than 4 min/side for just under medium. yum""

Reviewed Oven Fried Chicken

"fantastic. crunchy outside, moist inside. I had to chg ingredients because I was missing several. I used chili powder and cumin (1/4 tsp ea) instead of cayenne pepper, used 1/2 cup of french vanilla yogurt instead of mayo, 1 1/3 cups rice chex, 1 cup cheerios, 1 cup ritz crackers. This was the best chicken i've ever made. used skinless boneless""
