Reviewed Blondies Recipe : Food Network Kitchen : Food Network

Mar 30, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I've made plenty of brownies, although this is the first time making blondies. I'm not a big fan of this recipe, not a lot of flavor. I will be trying out other recipes for sure.

These were amazing! I took note of other reviews and made them in a muffin pan, no running at all. I also added 1 1/2 tablespoons of flour to the batter to prevent running. Dipped them in melted dark chocolate, soooo good! Nice and chewy on the inside, I can't rave enough.

I used a 8 x 8 pan and these brownies came out thick, moist, and amazing! I will definitely be making these again!! To make these even richer I added chocolate frosting to the top, yum! "

Reviewed Basic Vanilla Cake

Jun 22, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was my first time making a cake from scratch. The consistency was a little scary after the batter was mixed, it was very thick. The only reference I have to go by is the store bought cake mix though and that is extremely runny. However, the cake ended up being very moist and the vanilla flavor was really nice. "

I couldn't resist making this even though it's 90 degrees outside. This was the second time I have made this soup and it is so amazing! I will never make another chicken noodle soup, this is my go-to recipe. Perfect, perfect, perfect!!!"

Reviewed Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

May 25, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This cake was amazing! I baked it in a larger cast iron pan so I was able to use all the cake batter. I had no bubble over and no waste, plus it baked perfectly. Not only is the top awesome but the cake taste great too, which isn't always the case with the upside down cakes I have tasted in the past. This is the only pineapple upside-down cake"

Reviewed Basic Pizza Dough

I actually found this pizza dough to be almost exactly like the kind you buy at the store in a tube. However, the dough was easy to work with and it did smell really good when it was baking . But I wouldn't make it again, it wasn't worth the trouble. "

Reviewed Chicken Stew with Biscuits

Nov 19, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Amazing!!! I followed the recipe exactly and it came out so good. I do think the carrots were a little too raw, next time I'll saute them with the onion maybe to get them more soft. The biscuits were so easy and so good. It was only the 2nd time I had made biscuits from scratch so I was a little nervous but they turned out wonderful. Will be...

Reviewed Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oct 4, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I agree you can't taste the malt flavor in the cookie. The only change I made was substituting butter flavored crisco for the butter. I did notice my cookies didn't really spread out like she said they would, maybe because of the change I made. Overall a good cookie, nice and soft and good flavor but not a whole lot different tasting then my re...
