About Me
I love to cook! I am not a fancy cook but I like to say I'm the Queen of Comfort Food as I specialize in soups, stews, omelettes, meatloaf & pasta, pot pie & quiche. Simple "home cookin' " using my Mom's recipes & techniques. Mom was Italian & a great cook; Dad was Irish/German/French & he & his Dad & brothers all cooked, as did all my uncles & my son! I also like to invent dishes or reproduce food I've had in restaurants.
Favorite Foods
If I had to pick one fave food, it's lasagna. Following that is almost anything else Italian, after that, everything else! There's very little I don't eat; love meats, fish, veggies, fruits & pasta. I don't care for asparagus or beets but I'll eat almost anything else. And if you Italian fry the asparagus, or pickle the beets, I'll eat them too!
