I followed the recipe exactly except I cooked it for an hour and 45 minutes. I used mini aluminum (foil) cupcake liners. I got about 100 pieces of candy and they are delicious. I am giving them to our neighbors for Christmas. They will love them!

I watched this show also and was shocked that she put the cooked turkey over the very dry dressing. When the guests put the dressing on their plates it literally rolled around. I have both of her cook books and I have found that her recipes are based around her mom's cooking and that is a lovely tribute to her mom. They are simple and easy to prepare....

This was amazing. I did use vegetable oil and self-rising flour because that is what I had on hand. The salt brine is the secret I think. The milk gravy was perfect over rice.
